Our residential decks add beautiful and refreshing space for luxurious outdoor entertainment that will impress you with fresh power to live another happy day of your precious life. We'll install a new or upgraded deck at your home in the Edina, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Plymouth, MN & surrounding areas. We also provide repair/restoration services for your old deck. By using some techniques we will give an old deck a new lease on life, and help maintain the look of a new one.

Oleks (Alex) did a terrific job on our deck! We needed to replace our decaying two-story deck stairs and got 3 quotes/assessments. We chose Alex because it was clear from the start that he was honest, fair on price, and would provide quality work - and all of this was true as he completed the job! He definitely knows his stuff, as he took the time to share the construction errors that led to the decaying and how he would prevent those in his approach (small openings between steps, pouring concrete where the steps would otherwise meet the soil ground, etc). We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Of note, in our pics you will see old wood on the deck platform - that’s because those boards were still good and we chose to keep them to keep the cost lower. All the boards will match when we stain it (which we wanted to do ourselves) - and Alex was so helpful in giving us tips on how to do our first deck staining job!

Love the new color on my deck! Oleks did a fabulous job painting my deck a solid chestnut color and was meticulous in his work. He sanded everything by hand and replaced 9 boards of wood that were rotted out. If you want a great value and excellent outcome, you will not be disappointed with Deck4life.

I was looking for someone to replace the top decking on a 40 yr old deck. I had Alex take a look and he indicated the deck had bigger problems then the decking and he wouldn’t just do decking without replacing 3 posts holding up a 12x22’ upper deck. Alex completed the whole project in 10 days by himself, had old decking hauled away and cleaned up work site. In addition he repaired the ledger board that had rotted and repaired an edge of siding that had deteriorated. This whole project was started and finished while we were traveling, but we were kept appraised by Alex by text. We now have a beautiful and safe deck4life on our home. Thanks Alex.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meeting with the homeowner, we listen to the client's needs/wishes & providing firm estimate for project completion. We know what is new and desirable today and can recommend certain things which will increase the value of the property & minimize remodeling costs. Once the homeowner decides to move forward with the project, we meet a second time to discuss details & when everything is satisfactory to both sides, apply for building permit. (Usually it takes about two weeks for the city to issue a building permit and review the plans) We starting construction on scheduled date & supervise every step of the project & inform homeowner if any issues arise or further suggestions to make the project run smoother, save the client money, or the improve property value.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience is my best teacher.
